TERMS & CONDITIONS FOR THE NZ COMPARE AWARDS 2023 (THE “AWARDS”)

General Conditions of Entry:

All sections of the entry must be completed and submitted in writing and comply with required entry templates, word limits and other guidelines specified by NZ Compare.

Candidates should ensure that information provided is relevant and sufficient to allow the judges to properly assess their entry.

Entrants accept that their name, logo and other key details may be used in publicity of the Awards.

All entries must be received by 5.00pm on 17 October 2023.

There is no limit on the maximum number of categories each Entrant may enter.

All Awards entry documentation and official entry forms received by GCGL are treated as confidential.  Judges are assigned in a way to avoid conflicts of interest. 

If the Entrant is part of a larger organisation the Entrant must be able to demonstrate that you function as a separate business unit. If not, the parent or holding company must enter.

Entrants must have been trading for 12 months or more as at 31 July 2023.

By entering these Awards you agree to GCGL, its sponsors, the judges of the Awards having access to and processing your contact details and your Entry in accordance with the Privacy Act 1993.

The judges’ decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

You agree to the judges reserving the right to re-allocate your entry to an alternative, more appropriate, category.

If you conduct promotional activities or advertising about being a finalist or winner of the NZ Compare Awards 2023 you must mention “NZ Compare Awards 2023” and include the Awards logo.  The logo must cover a minimum 10% portion of your advert or promotional material.  All usage of the NZ Compare Awards 2023 name or logo requires the advance approval of GCGL.

GCGL places considerable value on the Awards. Entrants must disclose any issues that may compromise the integrity of the Awards or cause the Entrant’s business to discontinue in the current or following year. These issues may include legal action, law changes, possible loss of funding, or other risks.

The Awards are not open to employees or officers of GCGL.

Category sponsors cannot enter the category they sponsor.

GCGL uses third party vendor re-marketing tracking cookies, including Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram and Twitter remarketing cookies. This means we may continue to show advertisements to you across the internet, specifically on Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and Twitter.  As always we respect your privacy and are not collecting any identifiable information through the use of Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and Twitter or any other third party remarketing system. Any data that is collected will be used in accordance with our own privacy policy. The third-party vendors, including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and Twitter, whose services we use will place cookies on web browsers in order to serve ads based on past visits to our website. Third-party vendors, including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and Twitter, use cookies to serve ads based on a user’s prior visits to your website. This allows us to make special offers and continue to market our services to those who have shown an interest in our service
